General information
INTER BATIMENT SERVICES provides carpentry, masonry, parquet installation, cleaning, and construction equipment and materials trading services, and is committed to transparency in its relationships with customers.
This policy sets out the general conditions that apply to service cancellations, advance payments, and refund requests.
Payments and service agreements
The interbatiment.com website presents our services and makes it easy to contact us. We do not accept or process payments directly through the website.
Quotes, payment arrangements, and project conditions are set individually in the agreement between INTER BATIMENT SERVICES and each customer.
Depending on the nature and scope of the project, an advance payment may be required before work begins; its amount and conditions are then stated in the accepted quote.
Cancelling a service
Customers who wish to cancel an agreed service or project should contact the company as soon as possible.
Cancellation requests are reviewed in light of the applicable service agreement, the project's progress, and French law.
Any cancellation charges or financial obligations are determined according to the agreed contractual terms and applicable legal requirements.
Refunds and advance payments
Eligibility for a refund depends on the terms of the relevant agreement, the nature of the payment, the work already carried out, and applicable law.
If a project is cancelled before work begins, any refund is assessed in light of the contractual arrangements and any costs or commitments already incurred.
Where work has started, the value of the services already performed and the applicable contractual obligations may be taken into account when determining the refundable amount.
Construction equipment and materials
For the purchase or sale of construction equipment and materials, return, take-back, and refund conditions are those agreed for each transaction, without prejudice to applicable statutory guarantees.
Consumer rights
Where a contract is concluded at a distance or off-premises with a consumer, the consumer has, in the cases provided for by law, a fourteen-day right of withdrawal (Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). If the consumer expressly asks for the service to start before that period ends, they remain liable for the amount corresponding to the service provided up to their withdrawal (Article L221-25).
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory statutory rights available to customers under French law.
Refund requests
Refund requests can be sent directly to the company, preferably by email to [email protected].
Each request is reviewed individually, taking into account the circumstances of the project and the applicable contractual and legal provisions.
Where a refund is approved or legally required, the refund method and processing arrangements are communicated directly to the customer.
